Looking for a fun and easy way to enjoy nature as spring arrives?
As the days grow longer and the sunshine warmer, it’s the perfect time to get outside and connect with nature. Join us for a refreshing walk in Green Timbers and enjoy the vibrant greenery, blooming wildflowers, and the sounds of birds and buzzing pollinators. Whether you’re interested in the natural world or the rich history of the area, the walk will be tailored to your curiosity.
Dress in layers and wear comfortable shoes to make the most of your experience, and get ready to meet new friends while learning something new along the way!
If you want to do some good for the environment, bring gloves and a trash bag. Together, we can contribute to keeping our surroundings clean and pristine. We can’t wait to meet you and embark on this adventure!
Our walks are usually about 2 miles (3-4 km) and take place on mostly flat-level gravel trails, providing a comfortable and accessible experience for all participants. However, depending on the group’s preferences, we may change the route to accommodate different interests.
We will meet at the Surrey Nature Centre parking lot (14225 Green Timbers Way, free parking, map) at 11 am. The best part? There is no need to register and no fee required. So, put on your walking shoes and join us for an unforgettable spring nature walk in Green Timbers!
