2018 marks the 30th anniversary of the bylaw that created the Green Timbers Urban Forest.
The Green Timbers Heritage Society will be at the lake with the Surrey Natural Areas Partnership team and lead tours of Green Timbers and trips past the inaugural plantation (the beginning of replanting in B.C.) to the Surrey Nature Centre (and back).
The Surrey Nature Centre is also celebrating! 2018 is their 10th anniversary.
